Home Window Funding exists to answer one deceptively simple question — how does window funding actually work? We are an independent information and enquiry service that explains funding in plain English and helps UK homeowners check what they may be eligible for, with no jargon and no pressure.

Why we started

We set out to cut through all of that. Our aim is to give you a clear, calm explanation of what funding really is, so you can make a confident decision rather than a rushed one. That means being upfront about the things others gloss over.

What we do — and what we don’t

We do two things. First, we publish straightforward guides on how window funding works, who tends to qualify and how to avoid the pitfalls. Second, we offer a free, no-obligation eligibility check that, if it looks promising, connects you with an accredited installation partner who can carry out a survey and provide a written quote.

What we do not do is just as important. We are not a government body, we do not run a grant, and we do not hand out free windows. Window funding means funding and contribution options, subject to eligibility and a home survey — and “free” only ever refers to your quote and assessment. We will never quote a firm price before your home has been surveyed, because no honest figure is possible without it.
