Do I have to own my home to apply?
Funding is arranged with the property owner. Homeowners can apply directly. If you rent, you can still ask about your options, but the homeowner will need to give their permission before any work is agreed.
How long does the eligibility check take?
The online eligibility check takes about 60 seconds. You provide your postcode and confirm whether you own your home, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
Is the home survey really free?
Yes. The home survey is free and no-obligation. It lets a matched installer measure up and assess your windows so an accurate written quote can be prepared. The word free only ever refers to your quote and assessment.
Will I be pressured to go ahead?
No. You can pause or stop at any stage, you are never charged for the survey, and you are never asked to pay before you have a written quote. The decision is always yours.
How much will new windows cost me?
It depends on your home, the number and size of windows and the specification, so no honest figure can be given before a survey. You receive a written quote afterwards, and comparing window quotes from more than one installer is always sensible.
